Module 2 Activity Research
Weekly Activity Template

Project 2
Module 2
In module 2 I took my exploration of microcontrollers and basic circuits further. I created a basic bare-bones protottype of my RGB Lamp and did plenty of research on aesthetic lamps, ordered electronics, and got to the point in my creatio process where I am confident in bringing my RGB Lamp to life.
I have rearranged this web template, by moving both Guerilla prototyping activities between the research activities, just so everything is in the order of completion. I coudn't complete Guerilla prototyping until I had my first research activity done, and couldn't complete the second research activity until I had all my Guerilla prototyping done.
I also chose not to do the first Guerilla prototyping activity, as I've worked with cardboard plenty in the past and making a phone stand/cardboard prototype wouldn't benefit my project in any way. Instead I focused on research and figuring out all the electronics and materials, which is the knowledge that I'll take into third project.

Project 2 Prototype
This is my final circuit for the P2, which wasn't just a learning experience, but a proof of concept and a reassurance for me that my idea works and can be implemented.
This basic circuit consists of 3 LED's, with brightness of each being controlled by a potentiometer, all powered through an Arduino. For P3 I will be using NeoPixel LED rings and rotary encoders instead of basic LED's and potentiometers,
so I have more control over the lighting. It will all be powered by an ESP32 as it's much cheaper and smaller than an Arduino (it also has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi).
